A New Hiring Strategy In A Poor Economy

I recently attended what I expected to be the usual interview process at a local company that was hiring.  When I arrived, I discovered that they had invited a small group of candidates to tour the company and go through the HR equivalent of speed dating.

The idea is to get a better idea of who you are and whether you will fit in by putting you through a short interview; in this case it was three questions in three minutes while being recorded for later review.  This somewhat unexpected wrinkle brought on a case of stage fright that most likely eliminated me from the pool.  I will not become so rattled the next time that I meet this strategy.

And now that you know this strategy is out there, you can also be ready to face it without having an anxiety attack.
